The affects of fuels on metals and alloys used in naval aireraft have been investigated by means of weight loss caasureaents after immersion in quiescent fuel samples and by means of corrosion studies of aluminunn. Alloys exposed to aqueous extracts of the fuels in the presence of other metals.
