Absorption of Ultrasonic Waves in Aqueous Solutions of Magnesium Sulfate

摘要

The spherical resonator technique for the measurement of sound absorption in liquids has been improved and has been used here for the determination of the difference between the sound absorption in water and that in solutions of several salts at low concentrations over a frequency range of approximately 30 to 500 kilocycles per second.
