The 10th Conference on the Chemotherapy of Tuberculosis is part of an ongoing series of conferences on streptomycin and other tuberculosis therapies presented to report the progress of cooperative research being conducted by the Veterans Administration in conjunction with the armed services. Major presentations were given on intermittent treatment regimens employing streptomycin and paraminosalicylic acid (PAS); clinical trials of TB-1 in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis; and the use of terramycin, viomycin, and PAS in tuberculosis treatment.
