A discussion of the characteristics of meningitis, including meningoccic bactermia and meningitis, other acute bacterial meningitides, and 'aseptic' meningitides, is presented in this technical bulletin. Epidemiology, bacteriology, clinical findings, complications, prophylaxis, and treatment are discussed, as well as the many varieties of meningitis itself. The bibliography cites 51 entries.
