ACOUSTICAL PROPERTIES OF RUBBER AS A FUNCTION OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

This report presents some preliminary results of a study of the dynamic properties of elastomeric materials by acoustic methods.nThis study emphasizes the variations in acoustical behavior of these elastomers with changes in chemical composition. The acoustical properties are also affected very substantially by such things as frequency, temperature, static pressure or tension, etc.
