The Differential Diagnosis of Vertigo

The technical bulletin describes vertigo, or dizziness, and its causes and treatments. Many causes for vertigo are considered, including diseases of the central nervous system in which vertigo and nystagmus occur, diseases of peripheral vestibular origin exclusive of Meniere's disease, Meniere's disease, and pseudo- or atypical Meniere's syndrome. A discussion of diagnostic procedures and suggested treatments is included in the description of each syndrome. The bibliography lists 36 references.
