摘要

It has been shown that the rate of conversion of parahydrogen by liquid ammonia solutions of potassium amide is proportional to the concentrations of amide ion and parahydrogen. The specific rate constant at -50℃. was found to be 7740 1. mole-1 min-1. Deuterium gas exchanges with these solutions at approximately the same rate, and HD has been established as the initial product.
