The investigation of materials and methods believed to be capable of leading to low cost, Insulated, fixed resistors of high stability was continued. For the SP type, results of contract specified tests made on completed re¬sistors submitted to the Signal Corps are presented. In addition, high¬lights of investigations and improvements accomplished during the term of this contract have been reviewed. Work conducted during the fourth quarterly period toward the development of a high speed, low cost spiralling method for preparing high resistance value elements is reported
