This report is concerned primarily with the following performance evaluation procedures, which were developed as part of a comprehensive program concerning prediction and evaluation of research performance:nThis is a from on which the occurrence of critical incidents is recorded, each incident being classified into one of 36 behavior categories.nThese are summary evaluation forms, on which the evaluator makes 10 ratings (two different kinds for each of five areas of performance).nThis procedure involves giving the person to be evaluated, and assignment which is ostensibly a part of his regular job but which has been designed to elicit specified critical behaviors.
