The increasing use of concentrated hydrogen peroxide as a propellant in military applications has increased the need for information on the proper field handling of this material. Although numerous manuals and re¬ports are available on the handling, storage, trans¬portation and use of hydrogen peroxide, there is no one booklet which contains all the recent in¬formation. The Department of the Navy, Bureau of Aeronautics, authorized the Becco ChemicalnDivision of Food Machinery and Chemical Corpo¬ration to review and evaluate the published, as well as the most recent, information on these sub¬jects and to compile a handbook for use by field workers.
