An aluminum powder metallurgy product, designated "APHP", Grade M-357, was evaluated in sheet form and found to have a creep-rupture strength at 600℉. and 800℉. which is far superior to that of any aluminum or magnesium alloy in current use, although slightly lower than that of "SAP". Tensile strength of M-257 sheet material, while mush lower at room temperature than that of the heat-treatable aluminum alloys, is superior at temperatures of 600℉. and higher.nM-257 material was not found to be susceptible to stress corrosion.
