CONSISTENT DIFFERENCES IN THE OBJECTIVELY MEASURED PERFORMANCE OF MEMBERS AND GROUPS

The purpose of this report was to examine the consistency of differences in objective measurements of performance of members and groups.n In each of the 19 groups, the 5 Ss privately rank ordered a set of five words according to their estimate of the words' familiarities to high school senior boys. Following a discussion, the group rank ordered the words. Finally, the group was informed of the correct familiarity. The procedure was repeated with 12 sets of words.
