The Final Report discusses the subject contract investigation from its inception, 1 July 1954, to its completion, 1 January 1956. Its history is briefly discussed with emphasis on major endeavors or accomplishments. During the phase covering the period 1 July 1955 to 1 January 1956, the remaining design and test work was completed. Also, two complete fre¬quency meters were manufactured and tested for conformance with all electrical specifications. The major portion of the final report dwells upon the circuitry of the final units. The theory and characteristics of each major function is given in detail. Following this is a section on operating techniques which should serve as a complete guide in the use of the instrument. Mainten¬ance procedures are then given with emphasis on precautions peculiar to the instrument. The text of the report makes frequent reference to photographs, sketches, and complete schematics.
