Research Consisting of Spectrographic Analysis of Samples and Development of Spectrographic Methods for the Determination Of Impurities

The demand for analytical data was such that a maximum effort was required for the analytical phase of the Contract. The Radiochemistry Section, Air Force Cambridge Research Center submitted 120 samples of silicon and silicon compounds for analysis. This resulted in the exci¬tation of 480 petrochemical samples and 8,280 determinations.nThe remaining time was devoted to refinements of the techniques as outlined in the Second Quarterly Report.
