摘要

The delay introduced by structures suitable for fabrication in strip line was investigated. The tandem arrangement of a high pass and low pass filter, a periodically shunt loaded line, and an iterative (alternate high and low characteristic impedance) line were considered.nThe optimum time delay introduced by these structures was seen to be of the order of several mill micro-seconds at X-band. While these structures may be useful for some applications, they do not appear to offer a means for obtaining appreciable delay, say of the order of one (1) micro-second for a reasonable number of sections.
