摘要

A new arrangement for the source optics of the Perkin-Elmer double-pass spectrometer is described. This design per¬mits the use of special equipment and provides a means of flushing atmospheric carbon dioxide and water vapor from the optical path of the instrument. Spectra showing the perform¬ance of the flushing system are given.
