The Team Performance Record An Aid for Team Analysis and Team Training

摘要

Observations of the functioning of several hundred Navy teams were analyzed to determine the specific behavior critical in producing effective team performance. Thirteen general categories of behavior based on these data were then used in constructing Team Performance Records. These are designed for recording observations of team operations in a form that points up performance to be encouraged and performance needing improvement. Three types of record were developed: a General Performance Record for Navy teams and two special forms;a Performance Record for Gunnery teams and a Performance Record for CIC teams.
