Simultaneous Heat and Mass Transfer and its Application to Airborne Electronic Cooling

摘要

This report discusses the heat transfer problem in airborne electronic equipment and the necessity of increasing the scope of the electronic engineers development activities to cope with this problem. Emphasis was places on the role of momentum and mass transfer as the “cause” of the cooling problem, and on the limitations of using air alone as a coolant.
