During the period covered by this annual report emphasis has bean placed on an extensive sea going program, tabulation and analysis of oceanographic data and preparation of technical reports on various aspects of the project's activities.nThe project activity during the year has been a con¬tinuation and further development along the lines laid down in the Annual Progress report for the period ending 30 April, 1955.
