A great deal of attention is devoted in our country to the fight against corrosion of seagoing vessels. At the last Conference held in 1948 at the Academy of Sciences, USSR, and devoted to the problems of sea corrosion, a resolution was made, outlining the cathode for combating corrosion of metals in sea water.
