MICROPHONISM IN MICROWAVE CRYSTAL MIXERS

摘要

The microphonic effects noted in a microwave crystal mixer subjected to vibration are investigated. The experimental procedures and results are presented in detail. The conclusion is that the catwhisker of the type 1N23 crystal is mechanically resonant at some frequencies of vibration; another type of crystal is found to perform satisfactorily under the same conditions.
