Design of Two Fire Control System Maintenance Training Devices

摘要

Many improvements are being sought by the Air Force in the quality of maintenance of fighter-interceptor fire control systems. One approach is through improvements in training by the use of training devices which provide efficiently for practice of job skills. The purpose of this report is first to outline early developments in fire control system maintenance trainers, and then to describe two new training device de¬signs which appear to have achieved many improvements over the earlier devices. Engineering design details for the trainers are on file at the Maintenance Laboratory, Air Force Personnel and Training Research Center.
