The S-11X Signal Generator-Receiver Antenna Pattern Measuring Set was designed to simplify the instrumentation required for the measurement of antenna radiation patterns within the range of 1,000 to 10,500 megacycles. The equipment consists of a signal generator (transmitter), a tunable crystal detector, a narrow-band 1 kc amplifier, and a heterodyne frequency meter. The set may be used without additional specialized equipment to make point by point measurements.
