A prescribed air dose has been delivered to each individual and a record of his lateral di¬ameter and weight kept. This nominal air dose is modified by a factor of 0.943 to exclude the wall backscatter from the measurement and yield the actual air dose. The average dose in rads is determined from the final graph (fig. 9) of average dose per nominal 100 r at 205cm. The integral dose is then this average dose multi¬plied by the weight of the individual. The variation in average dose is taken from figure 11. This procedure has been followed in making up the table on the dosimetry of all patients irradiated at a nominal air dose of 200 r
