PERTURBATION OF CONTINUOUS SPECTRA AND SINGULAR INTEGRAL OPERATORS

This is a report on the study of a certain problem associated with the perturbation of continuous spectra, where the perturbing operator is a singular integral operator.nThe investigation of (1.1) was initiated in order to provide an example for the following problem:nLet L be the operator Lo of the expression (1.1). This operator is symmetric and possesses a simple continuous spectrum which consists of the closed interval from a to b.
