Absorption and biabsorption in pink and red synthetic ruby and 2a study of the piezobire-fringence and pizeobiabsorption in pink synthetic ruby subjected to a stress parallel to the c-axis.nThe main absorption peak (due to chromium) in substances of relatively low optical anisotropy and absorption is independent of the internal structure of the substance.
