Air Force Ground Electronic Equipment Reliability Improvement Program

摘要

As the demands of modern warfare have dictated increases in military electronic equipment complexity, reliability has been correspondingly decreased, thus necessitating the institution of a comprehensive program of reliability improvement in the Department of Defense. This report describes the transition of reliability from an art to a science, and the corresponding emergence of a comprehensive reliability program for USAF ground electronic equipment.
