THE LIQUID DENSITY, VAPOR PRESSURE AND CRITICAL TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE OF PERCHLORYL FLUORIDE

Perchloryl fluoride (ClO3F) was first prepared by Engelbrecht and Atzwanger (1) and in the cited article and in a later one by the same authors (2) information on the physical and chemical properties are given. The infrared spectra has been examined by Lide and Mann (3). Barth-Wehrenalp (4) reviewed the methods of preparation of perchloryl fluoride. The current study has ex-tended the range of measurements reported by Engelbrecht and Atzwanger (1, 2) and presents data of a higher precision.
