An introductory section reviewing certain portions of the Phase I investigation * modified where required by subsequent findings is pre¬sented. This section covers general clipper circuitry discussing clipper tube location, methods of triggering and general power supply considerations. The various types of clipping devices together with the reasons for select¬ing a gas triode type clipper are also briefly explained.
