BENDING OF ORTHOGONALLY STIFFENED CYLINDRICAL SHELLS

摘要

the flexure theory of orthogonally stiffened plates treated as uniform plates of homogeneous orthotropic material has been extended to the case of the flexure of stiffened shells. It is shown how elastic constants or compliances determined from experiments on stiffened flat plates may be used in the analyses of the deformation of similarly stiffened shells.
