Investigations continued on the three trillium battery components the trillium source, the collector, and the enclosure. First, two foils containing 50 curies were made in the trillium source production system. There foils were cut into smaller pieces for use in all battery types. Secondly, A new collector reface containing two layers of carbon was found to how a higher efficiency under limited production conditions. Thirdly, severed enclosure types were designed with two different terminus.
