RADIATION FROM MARS AND JUPITER AT 3.15-CM WAVELENGTH

摘要

A number of observations of Mars were made using the Naval Research Laboratory 50-foot reflector at 3.15-㎝ wavelength during September 1956 when the planet was near opposition. Of these, 71 observations were selected for a quantitative reduction which yielded a black-body temperature for Mars of 218+76 °K (mean error).
