The study described in this report is an analysis of a proposed telephone network, it is concerned primarily with the role of the operator in the route finding and switching (dialing and automatic events) required to operate this system.nThis study is an early step in the system development and as such is primarily concerned with the formation and clarification of the concept of the system, Certain specific implementations of the system have been derived from this concept and are presented as the recommendations of this study.
