A vacuum fluidity apparatus was used to determine the fluidities of magnesium alloys. The alloy systems studied were:n1. Magnesium-aluminum binary system from 0 to 20% aluminum.n2. Magnesium-zinc binary system from 0 to 20% zinc.n3. Magnesium-aluminum-zinc ternary system up to 20% alloy content.n4. Magnesium-zinc-zirconium system from 0 to 20% zinc.n5. Magnesium-thorium-zirconium system from 0 to 20% thorium.
