Deposition of Windborne Droplets of Dibutyl Phthalate on Coated Glass Microscope Slides;

The purpose of this investigation was to study the effects of physical factors on surface contamination by aerosols. In particular, the deposition of windborne droplets on microscope slides was studied. Droplets of dibutyl phthalate, from 3u to 25u in diameter, were deposited at wind speeds of 2.5, 10, and 15 m.p.h. on microscope slides coated with films of a commercial surface-active agent (Aerosol OT).
