Development of a Mathematical Theory of Plasticity Based on Slips

摘要

Part I of this report gives the development of a plasticity theory considering latent hardening effect. Calculated results by this theory for four different cases are shown. Part II gives a method derived to analyze elastic and plastic strains of a crystal and to give successive active slip systems and their amounts of slips. An illustrative example of this method is shown in a previous technical note AFOSR-TN 56-307 Active slip systems and sums of slips of crystals of different orientations under uniaxial loading were calculated by the method given in Part IIa and T.N. 56-307. The calculated active slip systems and the sums of slips of different crystals are tabulated in Part IIb.
