This report is directed not to the scientist, for whom it would be too incomplete, nor to the student, for whom it would be too detailed, but to the instructor who must know more than he will have to teach and yet who does not have the time to become a botanist. Additional information may be obtained from the Heller report, referred to above and from A. E. Porslld's "Edible Plants of the Arctic." Both of these publications contain drawings and much Valuable information not included in this report.
