Application of Wiener-Hopf Method to Transport Theory

Milne's equation is derived as an example of an equation of the Wiener-Hopf type. The basic mathematical theory of the Wiener-Hopf method is developed and a number of physical problems solvable by the Wiener-Hopf method are presented. A discussion of the appli¬cation of the Wiener-Hopf method to the non-homogeneous integral equation is included.
