Interference Phenomena in a Circular Waveguide Containing a Coaxial Ferrite Cylinder of Finite Length

The scattering formulation is used to obtain a theoretical description of the interference phenomenae encountered in a circular waveguide containing a coaxial ferrite cylinder of finite length. Complete solutions are derived for the amplitude, polarization and phase of both transmitted and reflected compo¬nents.
