Composition for Rapid and Simultane¬ous Degusting, Degreasing and Rust-Proofing of Ferrous Surfaces at Ambient Temperatures

The object of this investigation was the development of a composition for removing light rust and grease from metal surfaces and simultaneously coating ferrous surfaces with a rust-proof deposit at ordinary room temperatures.nA formula was developed that accomplishes these objectives and in addition, can be supplied in concentrated from for dilution with water to facilitate shipping and storing, and exhibits accelerated rate of rust removal. This combination of properties for cleaning and rust-proofing has not been previously available.
