摘要

The vaporization of Nd2O3 has been studied by the Knudsen effusion method in the temperature range 2040 to 2450°K. Both tungsten and tantalum effusion cells were used in the experiments. From the tungsten refractory, the vaporization of Nd2O3 proceeds predominately by dissociation to NdO(g) and O(g), whereas in the case of the tantalum refractory the NdgO3 reacts with the cell, yielding primarily the gaseous species HdO and TaO.
