A Use of the Analog Computer in Antenna Pattern Studies

The analog computer is shown to lend itself to an evaluation of the convolution integral that occurs in the Fourier Transform method applied to antenna pattern studies. The method is one of changing the problem from step-by-step integration to one of solving a simple set of differential equations. Excellent agreement is found between the results of the computer method and those obtained from analytical methods.
