This paper presents a method for the design of multi-stage, narrow-band amplifiers employing general active two-port devices as amplifying elements. The stability of the amplifier is con¬trolled by means of its input and output conductance levels, rather than by neutralization.nThe main characteristic of this paper is a theoretical ex¬position of the functional dependence of the transducer gain of a multi-stage, narrow-band, iterative amplifier upon its inter¬stage network, and upon the input and output terminations. A. complete analysis of the transducer gain of the amplifier is pre¬sented.
