The initial phase of this study has been carried out during the period July 16, 1958 to August 31, 1958, the termination data of the present contract.nA total of 37 plates taken with the 40-inch refractor at the Yerkes Ob-servatory between 1912 and 1957 are available for the investigation of the relative proper motions in the region of the h Persei cluster.
