In SIAR graph N. 30 Modeling Technique and Theory for Aero-elastic Similarity in Bloun-Down Wind Tunel Tests, the importance of building up an “aquielastic model” for solving aeroelastic similarity problems was pointed out. In this Report a general procedure for determining the equielastic model is given.nThe two main problems, the above procedure is consisting of, are:n1) to find the pressure distribution on a solid model, the span wise and chordwise rotations being known at every station;n2) to determine the tip rotation for a given wing structure,nBoth problems are here solved in the most general way Numerical examples complete the work.
