In the present study, the Bloembergen-Solomon formulation is extended to include the temperature dependences of the correlation times governing the various contributions to T1 and T2 The re¬sults for Mn++ solutions not only verify the relaxation mechanisms proposed earliers-e but also show that in some cases the tempera¬ture dependence of T1 and T2 will provide information about the hydration of paramagnetic ions.
