摘要

Second harmonic output from a ferrite harmonic gener¬ator has been studied as a function of sample size for the half-disk geometry. Large variations in output are observed for a very small change in sample size. For different materials the optimum size is different which makes it difficult to compare materials by using them in a harmonic generator. The measure¬ment system for 1 mm wavelength energy has been designed. Two modified semi-static mode amplifier structures have been de¬signed. One is a cavity structure and the other a traveling-wave structure. The equipment and materials for growing garnet single crystals have been accumulated.
