Project 9-56-02-00, Task 101R, was initiated to fulfill a Transportation Corps requirement for a modern ambulance train for use on broad-gage foreign railroads to transport sick and wounded military personnel and medical attendants. This report covers the development of a railway ambulance train for operation on broad-gage foreign railroads.
