The NOPI-WURF Sub-Audio Frequency Noise Generator

The noise generator described in this report was designed to serve as a source of sub-audio frequency noise in the range 0.3005 to 300 cps The root-mean-square noise voltage per (cps) is adjustable and has a maximum value of 0.5 volt/ (cps) when working into an open circuit. The input impedance of the generator varies with the position of the output potentiometer and has a maximum value of approximately 2500 ohms. The distribution of noise voltage amplitudes is shown to be Gaussian.
