摘要

Pressure, temperature, chemical composition and electrical conductivity data are presented for gas mixtures behind strong air shocks and detonations of hydrogen-air and acetylene-air mixtures up to Mach 20. A digital computer program has been developed which solves the simultan-eous aerodynamic and chemical equilibrium equations. The latest thermo-dynamic and collision cross section data are used. Data are also presented where in the initial gas composition was varied to obtain the maximum elec-trical conductivity for a given shock or detonation strength.
